In the tutorials and articles on this website you may notice the keyboard commands are all written with Macintosh-centric keys (e.g. Command & Option vs. Ctrl & Alt). The reason for this is that I use a Mac for all of my work and I just cannot be responsible in my writing for anyone using a deficient operating system (kidding). What it comes down to is that not only is it easier for me to write out the Mac keys but also by only typing out one set of keys instead of both sets (i.e. Command/Ctrl+X) it keeps the instructions cleaner and more legible. Despite the overall predominant nature of the IBM Compatible PC running Microsoft Windows, it is not the dominant system for graphic arts and photography.
Microsoft Windows users visiting this site will simply have to mentally translate the two differing keys Command and Option into Control (Ctrl) and Alt respectively. If you ever forget what the translation is, simply hold your mouse curser over the key and a tooltip will appear just as you see in the example to the right informing you of the IBM-PC variant.
Example: Command+Option+B
